About Me
I have considered myself a global nomad, a world citizen, since I was 14. I taught college and high school English for 19 years, including five years in Central America and 11 years in all-girls education. I am currently the Professional Development and Outreach Coordinator for TakingITGlobal, and am designing e-courses for TIG on technology-driven global education. I am also the Director of Educational Development for the Research Journalism Initiative, an organization dedicated to bringing marginalized world voices into American classrooms in order to foster dialogue and constructive progress toward human rights. I am the Director of Global Partnerships for the World Leadership School, and have left teaching to start my own consulting firm, PRINCIPLED Learning Strategies, Inc.
